Gaming or streaming is still just a way for many people to have fun and enjoy their free time. However, for others, it’s an opportunity to showcase their skills and compete with the best players in a particular game. Professional gaming competitions attract millions of viewers every year and gain more and more fans worldwide. One of the stars of such competitions is Leh..
The world of virtual entertainment can sometimes be overwhelming, but if someone is passionate about it, they can not only build a brand and make money, but also gain many fans and open the gates to success. Streaming, in particular, broadcasting gameplay of a specific game, is experiencing its golden age, and it’s worth taking a moment to look at this phenomenon. It’s best to do it through an example that is very close to us…
Leh, who is he?
Paweł “Leh” Lehmann is certainly known to many readers, especially those who are interested in titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone. It is in this game that we could recently witness the conquests of the streamer from Bydgoszcz, but this is not the only game he has had contact with. Leh is strongly associated with the Battle Royale genre, in which out of a large group of players, only one player (or team) remains on a large map and can then be called the winner. Fortnite, H1Z1, Apex Legends… If these names are familiar to you, you have probably heard of Leh.
At one time, he won thousands of dollars in prestigious competitions within these games. The 28-year-old has been focused on streaming in recent years, but we can still sometimes see him on the stage, fighting for big money. Recently, he competed with another well-known streamer – Piotr “izak” Skowyrski – in the Toronto Ultra $100k Payout tournament. Although the gentlemen didn’t find success there, thousands of viewers followed their performance.
A Turn towards Streaming
Over time, Leh turned away from frequent competition with the best players towards a more entertaining path, namely streaming. He explained his decision in an interview for Esport Now. – Do I consider it a better career path? Let’s say it’s an alternative. Streaming brings me a lot of joy and has become my passion over the past year – he explained. It was the case in 2017, and since then, he has managed to build a stable brand. Every time he starts his stream, hundreds and sometimes even thousands of interested pairs of eyes join him. Why? Precisely because of the joy mentioned above, which is delivered by both Leh and his audience.
Lehmann is just one of many examples that gaming and streaming are slowly taking over Poland as well. Worldwide, the numbers achieved by the most popular creators exceed the wildest expectations, and everything indicates that this trend will continue. Figures like the one from Bydgoszcz also prove that this is a possible career path if we put enough work into our job. Leh can be found on YouTube and Facebook, where he streams all of his broadcasts.
Leh most often plays in a team with the legend of Polish gaming, Piotr Skowyrski “Izaak”, as well as with Jerzy Janowicz, who is a star not only in tennis but also in the world of digital competition.
